A little bit about me
I'm Tikky Shiwala, a Senior Software Engineer at Etsy, based in Boston, Massachusetts. I have a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and have been building software professionally for over 15 years.
At Etsy, I work across multiple teams — internal tooling, content management experience, and privacy — building scalable solutions for a global e-commerce platform. Before that, I spent five years at Constant Contact leading projects like API design, platform upgrades, and social integrations.
I'm passionate about the intersection of clean engineering and thoughtful design. Lately, I've been exploring AI coding agents and tools like Claude Code and Codex, finding new ways to augment the development workflow. I also speak English and French.
